The Ground Speed Distribution chart gives an overview of the frequency travelling at speeds. This is useful for calculating which gearing will be most effective for your preferred cadence.
How to use this chart
After you have entered your estimated Power, CdA and Weight open up the Ground Speed Distribution chart. Each bar represents a speed range. The tallest bars are the most frequent speeds travelled at. For optimal riding ensure that you have a gear range that allows for optimal cadence at these speeds. For improved power the straightest chain line between chainring and cassette sprocket is optimal.
